  1. Gather any kind of evidence, as minimal as it may seem, then you can attach an affidavit to it. They don't accept affidavits alone to prove your presence on June 15th, but you can attach one to your evidence and I'm sure it will help your case.
  2. Your application is still within the expected processing time of 4-6 months. There are people who applied in August and have still not heard a decision on their case. There's nothing you can do but wait.
  3. You've already covered the education requirement by being in school at the time of filing your application and I doubt you can send in more evidence unless they request it via an RFE. Just sit tight and wait until they get to your case. There are people who applied before you still waiting for a decision.
  4. Sister did Bios on the 26th of September also and just barely today got an update to her case, RFE -.- Let's see what dumb thing they come up with. She has been continuously going to school for the past 11 years and we sent her entire school record, so it can't be the continuous residence part or ID since we sent her Birth Certificate, school IDs, passport etc...Only thing I can come up with is the June 15th requirement, which I believe wasn't too far after she went on school break. Anyways, don't worry amor. Your approval will come soon.
  5. I-765Ws

Rent, bills, transportation, medical expenses, food, clothes, etc. Remember, it's not monthly, it's yearly expenses. In the additional information you can write down something along the lines of "My parents currently pay for all of my expenses which include but is not limited to, rent, bills, transportation, medical expenses, food clothes, etc. I need work authorization to be able to provide for myself as I am currently not able to work legally in the United States." They just want to see that you aren't making enough money to sustain yourself and they will approve your EAD right away. That's why they don't even ask for proof of any of the expenses and they are going solely off of the numbers you write down.
  6. Nope. lol. Even after the Service Request they didn't bother to change it. Oh well, let's see if this one is for real.
  7. My sister's case was updated December 15 with an RFE, it never arrived. I called USCIS 17 days later and put in a Service Request. 15 days after the Service Request, we got a letter in the mail from the California Service Center saying that they are currently having problems with their on-line system and that an RFE was never issued on my sister's case. Today her case updated again with another RFE. Let's see if this time it's for real. We will see on Thursday, that's when the letter should be arriving.
  8. All of the documents are scanned, not just the applications, not sure if the adjudicators look over the scans or the actual paperwork when reviewing your case though.
  9. At the lockbox they check to see if you sent in the payment of $465, the I-821D, I-765, and I-765WS form and that you signed them all. They don't look at your evidence, so the fact that you sent in your school ID is no indication of whether they will allow you to use it at the Biometrics appointment.
  10. Documents Required To Get A Dl/id ?

Take your I-821D approval letter with you.
  11. Like pswa83 said, here in California you can get an ID and DL without an SSN if you have been approved for DACA only and not the EAD. I doubt many other states do this, if any, they usually all require a Social Security Number. Look at your state's department of motor vehicle's website to see the requirements, or give them a call. About the Social Security Number, you won't be able to get one if you don't get approved for the EAD.
  12. Taking Too Long?

Yes, that is the right number. You have to listen to the options given to you by the automated message. Call the number and the options you have to enter are 1-2-2-2-1 to speak to someone about Biometrics. They aren't working today, so call tomorrow.
  13. Rfe Notification

Yes, your online status will change and if you have notifications set up, you will be notified by text or e-mail.
  14. Documents Required To Get A Dl/id ?

It might be your A#. Maybe they didn't know it was on the EAD since it shows up as USCIS#.
  15. Hola!!

Welcome to the forums. I'm also from Guadalajara, Jalisco.
  16. Documents Required To Get A Dl/id ?

In California you only need the EAD card and your Social Security Number, you won't need the actual SSN card.
  17. Documents Required To Get A Dl/id ?

What items did you initially take? For Florida you need to bring 4 documents. 1. Primary Identification - This can be your I-797 letter of DACA approval. They will need this to see your A# and to see that you have been granted DACA. Bring your EAD with you also. 2. Proof of Social Security Number - Your Social Security Card. 3. 2 Proofs of Residential Address - See this link to see what items are acceptable. http://www.gathergog.../checklist.aspx
  18. Bio's Taking A Long Time Why?

Passport/Photo ID and the Biometrics appointment letter.
  19. The application being accepted at the lockbox just means you sent in the correct forms and the payment. It doesn't mean your evidence was accepted or that your case was approved. Anyways, using the school ID will depend on the ASC that you have to go to. Some will let you use a school ID, others won't. If you can, you should try to go before your appointment date and ask if you could use your school ID for your biometrics. If you can't, I would make an appointment for a Matricula.
  20. Taking Too Long?

So you haven't gotten a Biometrics appointment letter yet? If so, call the National Customer Service Center at 1(800) 375-5283
  21. I remember reading somewhere that it's not a good idea to highlight anything because the papers you send in are scanned and if you highlight something, it might look dark.
  22. Bio's Taking A Long Time Why?

If you already called them and they told you to wait, then you will just have to wait before they move a finger.
  23. They're moving faster it seems. At this rate of approvals it looks like they will break 55k by the end of January.
  24. Yes, it is necessary to translate all documents you will be sending in that are in any other language besides English. You can either use an online-service like the one itzel posted or find a local Latino Services business that can do it for you.
