They are two different applications, I-821D and I-765, so both have different receipt numbers. As far as the error you are getting, I'm not sure why it's saying that.

You should be getting 2 receipts in the mail, one for the I-821D and another for the I-765. After that, the Biometrics appointment letter.

I think he means the Employment Authorization Document has the Advance Parole permit on it, it is a different card, I forgot where I read about it.

I don't think the questions change, just the order in which they are in the tests.

I sent stuff from before 2007 like Immunization Record, STAR Testing results from 3rd - 6th grades, some other medical records. It wasn't continuous residence type of evidence like from 2007-2012, just casual evidence here and there.

Like arcane said, all you need is your SSN and EAD to be able to apply for an ID and DL in California. First, you need to apply for a Social Security Number. I tried doing it right now but It's not letting me. Perhaps because the SSN is still new? I'll give it another try in a few more days.

I put that I have no income because I'm currently not working and that my parents help cover my expenses. What I did was put 0 income, then I added up all of the expenses that I generate like, rent, food, clothes, healthcare etc. and put that number in the expenses, then 0 assets.

No, it is not required. I applied with my Birth Certificate.

Went to apply on Friday. Dude there that helped me out was cool. He was Hispanic. I gave him the application, he asked for my EAD and then I handed him my Birth Certificate along with it. There were no problems, everything went smooth. He was telling me how this homeless lady had gone in earlier and started saying racist stuff to him lol. He gave me a receipt saying I had applied for an SSN and that the card should arrive within 2 weeks. What sucks is that I can't find the number to the Social Security office to go for a printout.

I forgot who it was, but someone said they signed up my mail, then after getting their Social, they contacted Selective Service and they told him to send him a copy of his social so that they can add it to his file.

You need the SSN to register online, or you can go to a post office and register there and not include an SSN. I'm going to wait until I get my SSN to register online so I don't have to contact them and give it to them afterwards.
