When you're issued an RFE, your I-821D status will update and you will be able to see it online.

Deferred Action Frequently Asked Questions
JoseG replied to Admin's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Hi, welcome to the forum. The Biometrics appointment date was the scheduled date that was written on my biometrics appointment letter. The walk-in date is the date I walked in to take my Biometrics. I got them taken before my actual appointment date by simply walking in. Some Application Support Centers will allow you to do this before your appointment date, but some will not.- 25 replies

The employees at the ASC have no way of knowing when you're applications are going to be approved. Some people have waited months just for their background checks to be completed, then once your background checks are done, your applications and evidence then have to wait in line to be reviewed by an adjudicator.

Were you already approved? Did you get your SSN? Did you get your ID or DL? When you got your SSN or ID/DL, the Selective Service was notified that you're eligible, so they sent you the letter telling you to sign up. You ask why now, they sent you the letter now because before they didn't know of your existence since you were undocumented.

Obtaining A Driver's License, Help
JoseG replied to chris_oswaldo96's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Since you're 17 ½, you don't need to take any driver's ed classes, but you won't get a driver's license, you will get a Provisional Permit which you must use for 6 months. After those 6 months you can then take the driving test and get your license. With the provisional permit you must drive with your parents or anyone older than 25 who has a valid license, you can't drive on your own. Your parents don't need to have a license or be citizens. You don't need to have an ID, but it's a good idea to apply for one considering you won't have your license for a while. Who knows. The process for DACA renewal has yet to be released. It's highly unlikely that it would affect you though, it's legal.

You should only use it to pay for stuff that you can pay off at the end of the month. You don't want to get stuck with a lot of debt and end up paying only the minimum for interest.
-
Once you get an SSN, it sticks with you. You will keep the same number, but your status will obviously change, so you will get a new SSN card with different wording.

You need to turn on the mobile and e-mail notifications when you login to your USCIS account.

You need to find something, it doesn't have to be exactly dated June 15, 2012, it can be something perhaps a week before or after. I would send any June evidence you can find.
-
I don't think that's true. No one I've seen has been transferred before doing their Biometrics. Perhaps you're confused. Everyone's applications are transferred from the lockbox to a Service Center. Then, after Biometrics, some cases are transferred to other service centers.
-
Hey, welcome to the forums. The most common reason why some cases were transferred from one service center to another is to try to even out the workload.

The fee for the Chase Total Checking is only $10 and it's waved if you have direct deposit and get a combined total deposit of only $500 a month.

No one knows what they will request since USCIS doesn't just send out RFEs for one certain thing. There are 7 requirements for DACA, which are these; Were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012; Came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday; Have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007, up to the present time; Were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making your request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS; Entered without inspection before June 15, 2012, or your lawful immigration status expired as of June 15, 2012; Are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States; and Have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, three or more other misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety. They can request extra evidence on any of those things and even some other things not listed. You have to wait until you receive the letter to know what it is that they want you to send. After you send back the requested evidence, you should receive a response within 60 days, although some people have waited longer than that.

I also have to open a bank account soon. I think I'll go with Chase since they're everywhere and have a lot of services.

Are There Any Restrictions On Where We Can Work With Daca
JoseG replied to sotero_gonzalez's topic in Resume/Job Help
Not sure, all I know is that most federal jobs and private sector jobs that require a security clearance require U.S. Citizenship. -
Are There Any Restrictions On Where We Can Work With Daca
JoseG replied to sotero_gonzalez's topic in Resume/Job Help
There are a few places where we can't work, for example, USPS. You must be a PR or Citizen to work there. -
The approval letter for your I-765 application should have arrived together with the letter for your I-821D. Your EAD should arrive in about 3-4 days, maybe your I-765 approval letter arrives with it.

Does My Husband Qualify For Dream Act?
JoseG replied to HisWife's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I entered through the San Francisco airport even though my parents lived in San Jose, California. If he entered through Long Beach, then put Long Beach. If he doesn't know the address from Long Beach, it won't make a difference, just start off with the ones from Fresno that he remembers. He was a child, it's not like he's trying to hide his run ins with the law lol. Remember, the guidelines, you just have to prove that you entered when you were under 16, and that you have lived here in the U.S. since June 15, 2007 up to the present. You don't have to prove that you lived at prior addresses. -
The guidelines state that you must have entered the United States before reaching your 16th birthday. You say you first came at the age of 3 months, then left in 1987 and didn't come back until 2001, that tells me that you were here in the U.S. for about 2 years, then left for 14 years before you came back again. That 14 year gap pretty much makes your initial entry at 3 months irrelevant. The second time you entered you were already 16, so that means that you would not qualify for DACA.

Does he not remember the other addresses or are there too many? I think it's fine, you just have to put as many as you can remember. -

When you initially send out your applications, you will send them to a lockbox. That's the place where they check to make sure that you sent in the correct fee and the correct applications and that they're all signed. After they have checked everything out, the lockbox will transfer your application to a Service Center for processing. Once your applications get to the Service Center, they will mail you two Receipt Letters that state your receipt numbers. The form G-1145 just emails and texts the receipt numbers to you, which you will get like 2-3 days before the Receipt Letters arrive in the mail from the Service Center. Like I said, you won't receive any information that you won't get by mail, but it's still exciting seeing the text and emails from USCIS to know that your process has started. Here is the form. Place it on top of the other applications. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=d9056d4e88ac3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD -
