  1. Finally sent my forms

  2. Biometrics Appointment ID

I'm sure you can call them and ask them to postpone the appointment if you need to. Yeah, Passports take longer to obtain. That's why I got my matricula consular instead, you can also use it for the Biometrics appointment. I got my appointment 3 days later and got it the same day, it only took about an hour and a half.
  3. Help!

Don't worry too much about it. The worst thing that can happen is they tell you to send them in, or they tell you to bring them in to the Biometrics appointment.
  4. Yup, there's no reason for him to say he supports it. Obama is already going to get the majority of the Hispanic votes since he announced DACA. There is no reason for Romney to say he supports immigration to try to get the Hispanic votes because he will just lose the support of those against immigration and he won't win over the Hispanic voters anyways.
  5. Biometrics Appointment ID

Yeah, give them a call and ask them if what you have is okay for the Biometrics. If they say that you need something recent, call the consulate. There is a number that you have to dial to make an appointment, you can ask them if they have any mobile locations available. The consulate was going to be setting up mobile locations to help out the people that are applying for deferred action. That's where I got my matricula, they had everything set up inside a furniture store and it was much faster than the permanent location.
  6. Help!

Photographs of you will be taken when you go in for your Biometrics appointment, but I don't know what they will be used for. It seems to me like the 2 passport photographs are required, but I am not entirely sure. EDIT: I searched on google for "deferred action document checklist" and found these sites. Both state that you need to send in the 2 photographs. http://njdac.org/blo...tion-checklist/ http://expertbeacon....st#.UERZxNYiaIs
  7. Deferred action payment form?

You can find the requirements and information here http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=e21adaee78529310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD
  8. Biometrics Appointment ID

You don't necessarily need a passport. The Matricula consular will also work. I suggest you get a passport or Matricula because I'm not sure if your passport or visa from when you were 9 will be accepted for the Biometrics.
  9. I believe you get it on your I-797C Notice of Action that they send you once they have received your application.
  10. Yeah, contacting an attorney would be the best thing since each case is different. or get married lol, you will have your papers in 3 months.
  11. If you have a certificate of completion, you can apply. Are you currently legally allowed to be here? One of the requirements is that your lawful immigration status must have ended on or before June 15, 2012
  12. That's how it is for many of us. Been here since I was 7. Lived here for 14 years yet we're still outsiders.
  13. Hmm.. I wouldn't know what to tell you since I don't know what your current immigration status is like, but for Deferred Action, driving without a license will not affect you unless you have other problems with the law that might add up.
  14. I'm not sure. Are you trying to apply for Deferred Action or something else?
  15. Biometrics Appointment ID

I don't think it has to be valid, but it also has to have a somewhat recent picture of yourself. I'm not sure they will accept a passport with a child photo of yourself. Do you have a matricula consular?
  16. Biometrics Appointment ID

You MUST bring the following materials to your biometrics appointment, or processing of your Form I-765 will NOT be completed at your scheduled time: Biometrics appointment notice. Photo Identification. Acceptable kinds of photo identification are: Passport or national photo identification issued by your country, or Driver’s license, or State-issued photo identification card. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=9059d9808bcbd010VgnVCM100000d1f1d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=b3be194d3e88d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD
  17. Looking for the Application

You can find the 3 required forms at these links. http://www.uscis.gov...a60aRCRD#filing http://forum.adreama...dhood-arrivals/
  18. Driving without a license

Is this the only time you have gotten in trouble with the law? If so, I don't believe driving without a license will hurt you, unless you have done other things that add up. EDIT: This is straight from the USCIS website. http://www.uscis.gov...000082ca60aRCRD If I have a minor traffic offense, such as driving without a license, will it be considered a non-significant misdemeanor that counts towards the “three or more non-significant misdemeanors” making me unable to receive consideration for an exercise of prosecutorial discretion under this new process? A minor traffic offense will not be considered a misdemeanor for purposes of this process. However, your entire offense history can be considered along with other facts to determine whether, under the totality of the circumstances, you warrant an exercise of prosecutorial discretion.
  19. Current Immigration Status

If they came in without inspection, they would simply be "No Status" or "Unlawful Status" either one works.
  20. Current Immigration Status

I gave them a call and they said that if you came with a Visa, for example, Student visa, you can put Student Overstay or Visitor Overstay if you came with a Visitor Visa. If you came without inspection, you can put Unlawful Status, or No Status.
  21. Current Immigration Status

Yes, but in the sub section a. of Section 2 it says to put Unlawful Status: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals by ICE. I don't mean to make this into an argument, that's just why I think that it's not the correct answer, because a. is a sub section to Section 2 which speaks of ICE granting you Deferred Action. Either way, It probably isn't such a big deal since we are filing form I-821D along with I-765.
  22. I-765 Worksheet Question

I'm not sure if you should report your annual income if you are being paid in cash.
  23. What to Fill and Where to Send It!

"Unlawful Status: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals by ICE" is wrong. You would put that if you were in removal proceedings under ICE and they deferred action in your case, in which you would only file an I-765 form by itself. You can either put "Unlawful Status" if you entered into the U.S. without inspection, or if you came with a Visitor visa and you overstayed you would put "Visitor Visa Overstay" or "Student Visa Overstay" if you came with a student visa.
