You don't know if you graduated? Did you receive a diploma? Call the last school you attended and ask them if they would be able to mail you a transcript. Tell them you live in a different state. They will ask you to email them a copy of your ID. The current forms have an expiration date of 02/28/2013

Question number 3 on form I-765 asks for your current address. I'm not sure what you would answer for question 14, my guess would be "undocumented" Call an immigration attorney and ask him/her. Same for question 15. For question 16 the answer is ( c) (33) For question 17 you don't put anything.

My passport is expired can I still fill out the applications?
JoseG replied to Anfboii's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
A passport will work as an ID from your country, but if you could get an actual recent picture ID from your consulate, that would be even better. -
You need to prove you enter the country b4 you were 16?
JoseG replied to Anfboii's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
The requirements state that you must have entered the United States before you 16th Birthday. Contact an immigration attorney and ask him if there is something you can do about it. -
Everything you need to know is in the Instructions. It lists all types of documents you can submit for the different requirements. http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/files/form/i-821dinstr.pdf

How to prove I entered before becoming 16 years old.
JoseG replied to uhm's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
That's a really tough case. You will need to talk to an immigration attorney and explain your case to him. -
If you are in school, yes, you can apply.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem as long as everything is legible.

That should be enough. There is an attorney answering questions right now here http://www.vokle.com...-and-nysylc#_=_ and she said that you should make copies of all pages of your passport to show that you haven't traveled outside of the U.S.

Listing false social security numbers i have used?
JoseG replied to ivahn69's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I think this question would be best answered by an immigration attorney. Try searching for one in your area on google and give them a call to see if they can answer that for you. -
I'm in the same situation you are. I have my expired passport that I got when I came here to the U.S. about 15 years ago. It is the only one that I have ever gotten so it still has the stamp on it with the date that I entered the U.S. The bad part though is that I lost my I-94 I have ebay and paypal receipts I am not going to renew my passport, but what I am going to do is get a matricula consular this saturday. I made copies of the first page which has all of the information and my picture on it, and of the page with the U.S. Visa and the page with the red stamp. Since you have your I-94, include it also. So to answer your question, no, it isn't absolutely necessary to renew your passport, as long as you have other forms of evidence to prove your identity, like school ids, matricula consular, birth certificate, expired visas and any other document that has your photo and name on it.

To make things easier, you can download the instructions for form I-821. It lists all of the documents that you can submit to prove that you have been here since June 15, 2007 and that you were present here on June 15, 2012. Hospital or Medical records are accepted as evidence. Here is the link to the instructions. http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/files/form/i-821dinstr.pdf

GED allowed even if still in classes to qualify for DACA
JoseG replied to itzel's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I would ask the school that you are attending to make you a letter stating that you are currently attending that school and taking classes to obtain your GED. Also, if they have any paperwork that you filled out when you signed up for your classes, ask them if they can give you copies. -
In order to qualify for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, you must meet one of the following education requirements: be currently in school, have a high school diploma, have a GED, or be an honorable discharge from the military. If you are currently in school taking classes for your GED, then yes, you can apply.
-
This isn't the Dream Act, this is called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. This isn't a law, and it does not provide a path to citizenship nor does it remove someones unlawful status. It simply prevents you from being deported for 2 years and gives you a work permit. One of the requirements is to have lived here in the US for the past 5 years, which is from June 15, 2007 until the date you file. Since you have only been living here for 3 years, you do not qualify for Deferred Action. Since Deferred Action isn't a law, it can be terminated by congress or the president at ANY time. If the program is still active, you can apply for Deferred Action once you reach the 5 year requirement of continuous residence.

If you fill out form G-1145, they will send you a text notifying you when they have received your application, that's probably what she did.
-
It was confirmed today in the teleconference that you must be 15 years old or older at the time of filing. The only way you can file if you are under 15 is if you are in removal proceedings.
-
This isn't the "Dream Act", it is "Deferred Action" This isn't a law, it also doesn't provide a path to citizenship. Here you can find the forms, http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=9296f6c546129310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=a2dd6d26d17df110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD The form I-765 to obtain an EAD (Employment Authorization Document) doesn't ask for any tax information.

Unfinished college, transcripts on hold, iffy residence status on file in college
JoseG replied to Nie's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
1) My suggestion would be to contact an immigration attorney and ask them what your current school status would be. 2) Call your college and ask them if they can give you a transcript, official or unofficial, tell them that it is required and that you need it. If they don't want to, ask them for a letter stating that you have attended that college from date X to date X. 3) When I went to apply for college I also didn't put any SSN and I was told that I wasn't obligated to add one but that I could add one later on if I wanted to. Maybe you can do the same.- 2 replies

things needed? proving i was here on june 15, 2012
JoseG replied to b923's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I have searched this and it seems like it is a number that USCIS assigns to your case. If this is the first time you are filing paperwork with the USCIS, you won't have one. USCIS will assign you one when they reply to your case. Don't take my word for it though, that's what I got from searching on google. -
I'm not sure about this. My suggestion would be to call and ask an immigration attorney.

I don't think there is anything in the guidelines that states a minimum age requirement to apply. I know it says that you have to have come to the U.S under 16 and must be under 31 to apply, but nothing on the minimum age.
