    Keep in mind that 80,000 applications were submitted during the first month between August 15 - September 15! By the end of September, there were only about 4,600 applications approved, that leaves about 75,400 people from August 15- September 15 that still have not received a response. By October 12, there were a total of 180,000 applications that were submitted. That means that only about 2.5% of the applications submitted have been approved.

      As time passes by, that 4-6 month expected processing time that USCIS first stated might start becoming more of a reality.
