Hello fellow dreamers, Long story short, I got arrested for a DWI in Texas. Blood level was.09, barely over the legal limit. The level was low enough that I got a pre-trial diversion to get this case dismissed after year probation. I am done with the probation this week and the case will be dismissed and expunged. Has anyone renewed their application with a DWI dismissed in Texas? I know here in Texas you cant get it expunged unless you get that pre-trial contract. Which is hardly ever approved with the District attorney.

Probation for DWI and I need to renew DACA
GoCoogs713 posted a topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Hi everyone I'm new to this and this is my first time posting. I've been convicted with a class b misdeamnor for petty theft when I was 17. I've been approved every time since DACA first started in 2012. 22 now and I'm currently on probation for a DWI case(significant offense) which ends on 11/17. My DACA expires on 7/17 and I would like to get some feedback on how I should go about my situation. Has anyone like me ever been on probation for DWI and been approved for DACA? Should I apply while on probation? Also I'm graduating from UH in the Fall with my BA in Computer Information Systems and my plan B was to move back to MX and persue my professional career with IBM or Accenture from there IF I cannot renew my DACA. Thanks for listening any feedback is greatly appreciated. -
Has anyone or does anyone know if someone was approved for a renewal for DACA. After you were approved with an expunged DUI the first time?

DWI/DUI, can i still have my DACA renewed?
FutureofUS posted a topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Hello my fellow DREAMERS, I want to start off by sincerely apologizing to everyone out there for making a dumb mistake when I was granted such a blessing with the DACA program. I don't think you want to hear my story of how I got charged with the DWI, so I will say this. My criminal defense lawyer has told me that it will be difficult to have the case dismissed, and I will probably have to do probation. I think this means that I will be convicted of a DWI on my record? Can I still be eligible for the renewal? I was granted DACA first in 8/22/13 and renewed it on 7/21/15 and it is set to expire in 7/20/17. This will be my second renewal, but this time I will most likely have a DWI conviction on my record. I am graduating next week with my master's in accounting and will be sitting for the CPA exam in January. I have a full offer lined up for me in July 2017 at a big 4 accounting firm. I really need this DACA renewal... I had my life set until I made a stupid mistake of driving while intoxicated... Please help me. I am scared of applying and being denied then having the possibility of being deported. -

I sent my packaged I received a NOID (Noticed of Intent to Deny) Not a Denial. I just sent it back with info etc. I"m on the process of getting my DUI expunged.I didn't hire a Lawyer because the process is simple & you can do it.They charge $120 to do it at the court, but if you qualify for a fee waiver then it's free. Now my question is I'm about 90% sure I'm going to be denied because of my DUI I did send them a copy that my DUI is in the process of being expunged with letters from church, friends of mine etc.Because if you show exceptional circumstances you have a chance if you have a Significant Misdemeanor. I'm planning on replying to DACA but when I do.I want to know exactly what you sent regarding your DUI copies that it have been expunged etc. I will not hire an attorney because I've done everything myself before and well the attorneys I spoken too don't know anything. I will appreciated the help Thank You.

Will A Dui Deny My Boyfriend From Passing The I-821D?
gferraro94 posted a topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
This weekend my boyfriend got pulled over and was charged with a DUI. his BAC was very very low and the cop says he will get a fine and need to go to court and traffic school. We are now applying for his papers and the I-821D form. Will him having a DUI affect his chances of getting approved? we also live in PA if this helps
