  2. I Have A Question!

I haven't been on here in a LONG while but the last time I was everyone was very helpful. I thought maybe you guys could give me some advice or input. I sent my renewal paperwork and they received it on Nov 10, 2014 I received the letters showing that they have everything and are reviewing my case then I received my Biometric letter so I went to do my Biometrics I don't recall the date but I believe it was on Jan 10 ish around that time. It's now March 7th 2015 and I haven't gotten any letters or updates online I've even called and reached out to their other department to try and push my paperwork up because my card is going to expire on the 17th of march and I'm going to lose my job. I got the union at my work involved and they are going to meet with an immigration lawyer to try and help but any other information would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Help :/

Hi there. I see this is a site full of people like me. And I love you guys for that. But unfortunately I never got my papers due to deferred action. Because I arrive at the age of 16. I'm 29 now. I live by my matricula and my passport. I'm about to travel to Panama City Beach, FL from Chicago just as a vacation. But I don't know how the roads may be. Has anyone else done this? Is it safe? I'm in distress that I might have to cancel my long awaited vacations due of fear. I'm traveling by bus (Megabus) to Nashville with my girlfriend (Who's a US citizen) and meet with my FL best friend there. Then we are driving to FL. Then we are driving back all the way to Chicago from Panama City. I need helo. Should I cancel? Am I worrying too much? Thanks.

In part 1, question 16, It is asking that you check any of the boxes for race that apply to you. The options available are: White Asian Black or Aafrican American American Indian or Alaska Native Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander My question is which boxes are you guys marking? Or are you just leaving that section blank?

  6. hello, I have been doing some research about the dream act and have a question. For one to receive a green card after 6 years it says you need two years of college right? Some documents say that you just need a degree or at least two years in college, or two years towards a bachelor or higher degree. So what I am trying to figure out is if one were to do a two year college and get a associates degree would that qualify for that? Some say you just need two years (with or without a degree). But some only say that you need two years towards a bachelor or higher. If you know the answer to my question please let me know. Thank you

  11. Hello Everyone! First off sorry if this question has been asked before on here but I went today to my Biometrics appointment and surprisingly it was really fast. After I was done , I asked one of the workers what I had to do after and she just said "you're done." Im just wondering what happens after the Biometric appointment? I read that you have to check your case online daily to see how it goes and that you will get something in the mail or your email? and does anyone know how long this takes on average? Im sorry if Im asking to much questions , Im just trying to be sure. Best of luck to everyone!
