    So, FIU is the only school in the entire state to allow students with deferred action to pay in state tuition.
  2. As per News.FIU.edu (Click for story) FIU is the first public university in Florida to offer in-state tuition to students who have qualified for Deferred Action. Before this decision was made this spring, local undocumented students had to pay out-of-state tuition.
