Hello everyone, I'm new on here'what does RFE mean? & what point will they request this? I got my biometric appointment letter today.

RFE is a Request for Evidence. which ,means that USCIS needs to see more evidence in addition to what you sent. sometimes is something minor, like a certain time frame and other times its because people didnt send enough evidence.

and usually the RFE letter will say what USCIS want evidence they need to see.

Sister's case updated on Saturday, but it was an RFE. Not sure what it could be since her case was much easier than mine since she is still in school and we sent her entire school record since Kindergarten up until the date we sent her application. We'll just have to wait for the letter, but I'm sure it will be something simple.

having saving really helped me when i finally got my own apt. most of the money i saved, went to the rent and deposit and buying everything i needed for my apt. and it also gives me some cushion in case i have an emergency.
