NilviaRR 53 Posted December 16, 2012 Are minors able to go to the social security office and apply for and get the social security number without their parents??? Im plannin on taking a bunch of kids to the ssa office and hoping parents done have to be present... please any minors who have gotten their ssn put ur experience down... both my sister and i arre well over 18 so idk if iys different for minors Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
