Hello i have a question, with the ead card and daca approval am i eligible to obtain a license? I'm from cali btw and turning 18 in a couple days, and i already have a car just been driving it illegally but need to get a license just incase i get pulled over. And also will I also be able to travel to mexico for vacations and come back?

Yes, you can obtain a drivers license with EAD and social security number (you need to apply first for a social security number).

No, you cannot travel to foreign countries if you are DACA approved (however, you can apply for advance parole, but you need to consult with a lawyer).

Like arcane said, all you need is your SSN and EAD to be able to apply for an ID and DL in California.
