FloridaLoveBug 7 Posted December 29, 2012 My lawyer is telling me I need proof of being here since I first got here when I was four. But I thought I only had to prove that I've been in the US since June 15,2007? Did you send stuff from when you first entered or just from June 2007 til now? I send proof as far back as elementary till 2012, the more the better but you just need to proof from 2007 till present.
JayhOR24 58 Posted December 29, 2012 I sent everything since i got here!
pswa83 302 Posted December 29, 2012 from what i understand, you have to show proof that you arrived in the US before the age of 16. whether that be by school records, or medical records, etc..... then you must prove that you have been in the US since 2007. however, if you have an I-94, which you might because of how your father came to the US, then you will need to send a copy of that as well. as far as proving that you've been here since you were 4, i dont understand the need for that. 1 Sinae reacted to this
roadrunner11 167 Posted December 29, 2012 I agree with PSWA. If you can prove you entered the US before you were 16 and have pretty solid evidence of you being present since 2007-Now you have a really good chance of getting accepted. On the other hand, sending lots of evidence seems to help as well because you are less likely to get an RFE.
JoseG 383 Posted December 29, 2012 I sent stuff from before 2007 like Immunization Record, STAR Testing results from 3rd - 6th grades, some other medical records. It wasn't continuous residence type of evidence like from 2007-2012, just casual evidence here and there.
meltop80 9 Posted December 29, 2012 I sent stuff from my I-94 Visa from when i first got here and all school records, elementary school to now which is college. If for example you send info from 2005,2006,2007 and then skip to 09 they will send u an RFE to show proof that u were here in 2008.

Hello I send everything from when I got here to be on the safe side I went to aps and they can give you official school records but it took then two weeks because a lot of people were requesting them. I think the more you send the better just so your case doesn't stop due to lack of evidence. Good luck

That isn't necessary....but if you miss to prove your presence any period of time after the June of 2007, you'll get a RFE.

FloridaLoveBug 7 Posted December 29, 2012 Thank you! I don't have much "evidence" from 2008-2011 (up until the day I got married) because I stayed low key. I didn't work, didn't go to school or anything. I have my paypal transactions & emails that I sent during that time but idk that is good enough. :/

Rawf 336 Posted December 30, 2012 I didn't have insurance and still visited hospitals and clinics, as a children you need medical assistance from time to time. There must be something. I sent papers from when I got here in 2000 to 2012, no gaps what-so-ever. All to prevent an RFE, but as long as you send the required documents then don't worry about anything. FloridaLoveBug 7 Posted December 30, 2012 Really what about a cell phone bill or a letter from somewhere you worked or volunteered No cellphone bill under my name. It was on my brothers name but we cut that line when I got married & got a new line with my husband in Nov 2011. I didn't volunteer anywhere or work anywhere. I was just at home babysitting my nieces and nephews every day. I didn't finish high school, didnt attend college,or anything so i really have no hard proof at all. I didn't go to a hospital at all. Only thing I have is my immunizations & high school transcripts but as I said I didn't even finish high school so it's only a few years.
