Hey everyone im from southern California!!

Well I'm very frustrated ... its been 3 months exactly on January 1st since I went to do my biometrics and i haven't received anything!!! I've checked my status on USCIS website and still at initial review!!!! i don't know what to do should i call them???

sent my paperwork on august 21

recieved approval on august 27

went to biometrics appointment october 1st

Let me tell you that you're not the only one like this! We have a lot of members who are also in the same situation some from Sept and Oct like myself I did my biometrics on 10/11 and sent the application around the same time you did and I'm still not approved! So don't worry all it is a matter of time!!! Remmeber that each case is different! best luck to you!

Hi me too i sent my application on september 27th and went to for my bios on october 30th and nothing yet just keep you hopes up we will get approved

Hi I'm also from Southern California they receive my application on November 05 took my bios on December 6 I just hope I get it before spring semester starts!

USCIS only worked monday through friday. no weekends or holidays.

calculate the business days since your bios.

calling unfortunately wont help because for the most part they will tell you the same thing that your status online does and to wait some more. the 4 to 6 month wait time starts after your bios and not when USCIS received your application.

I'm from So-Cal as well and they got my paperwork on Oct 15th and I did my Bio. on Nov 19th I'm also waiting. Don't worry you're not alone!!! Waiting is all we can do.

Nope I had to send it in to the USCIS Phoenix Lockbox Facilitybut from there they said they were going to send it somewhere in Cali i forget where. I'm in a hurry so I shall check later!
