Ab 2189 California Dl For Daca

Hi. I have a couple questions to ask to whomever that lives in California. I have this unique case where my i-821d case approved but i-765 pending. A couple days ago, Ab 2189 finally became effective that grants DL to people who are qualified for DACA. My questions are:

1. Can I go to dmv tomorrow and apply with my i-821d approval letter and govt issued id without providing SSN?

2. Does this law also applies for the ID? Cause it would be great if I could just get the ID first before I take the driving test.
