Jasmine2013 12 Posted January 11, 2013 Okay, So i live in Cali and I just want to know when you go get your ID/DL does it say it's only valid for the 2 yrs like our permits or the full term like citizens? Zntnl002 10 Posted January 11, 2013 I remember reading a post that said California ID's were Valid for more than 2 years. I wanna say 6 but I'm not too sure. JoseG 383 Posted January 11, 2013 Well, it says it on the DMV website that if our EAD is valid for less than 5 years, we will be issued a limited term ID/DL, so I guess it just depends on either the worker at the DMV or the DMV office because there have been some people who were issued a 2 year ID/DL. abby 0 Posted January 12, 2013 Hi Jasmine2013 I went to my bio app on November 28th and I just got approved on January 9th. my card is on its way from Kentucky and it will arrive here on Monday don't lose hope!!
