Kris 0 Posted January 15, 2013 Hello, my name is Christian, even though I´m new to the forum I have been reading many posts on this forum. They are very helpful and I´m sure there are hundreds if not thousands of people who read your posts for help. Thanks for all the help and advice, they´re all very helpful Back to my question. I recently received my Biometrics appointment letter and it tells me to bring some type of ID and I was wondering if my Mexican Matricula Consular ID will be accepted? I don´t have a passport by the way. Do you think I should go make an appointment to get a passport? Or with my Consular ID will be enough? Thanks in advance
Lonewolf8951 33 Posted January 15, 2013 The Consular worked fine for me here in Tx. It shouldn't be any problem. Good luck!
ツ alejandriiukz ㋡ 41 Posted January 15, 2013 Your Counsular ID is just fine I know 2 people who went with it
Edwin 11 Posted January 15, 2013 Yes, I presented my consular ID because my passport is expired and I had no problem. Biometrics people are really nice actually, don't be scared. You should probably have a school ID with you just in case they want to see another document with your picture they can somewhat relate to. But the Matricula is sufficient enough

amor 112 Posted January 15, 2013 In Boston, I used my passport but as I was fishing for it in my purse, the guy mentioned all I needed was my cedula. It was good to know!
