Momo13 17 Posted January 16, 2013 So I'm probably over thinking this (because I do that much to often!), but I was wondering if anyone else had issues coming up with proof for June 15th? I had just recently moved back to California from Texas. I was living out there for 5 years with my girlfriend. I had only been back in Cali for about 6 months when the Deffered action passed ... I'm currently living with my parents and NOTHING is under my name no cell phone I have no job because I don't have a SSN and obviously that's why I applied. I don't have any bank accounts because I have no movement of money, I help my dad with his business. My cell phone is a pay monthly Tmobile phone... so due to all of these things.. i lacked proof of work, bank statements, school records (I'm not in school), ect. The closest thing I had to proof were some personal letters my friends sent me threw the mail. Those were post marked close to June 15th but NOT on June 15th. I did send copies of those as proof I also sent EVERYTHING I had prior to me moving back to Cali. I had my bus ticket for my trip back to Cali. I had a police report of a car crash I was involved in, in TX. Lawyers paperwork on that car crash checks that I got from that crash in my name. I sent copies of all of that.. and obviously elementary, middle school, high school rec. and awards and my high school diploma. My question is, did anyone else run into this issue?!?! If so what did you guys send in? To be honest I'm quiet worried that they are taking longer due to this...or do you guys think that's enough to be like, "hey look obviously I haven't left the country! I was here on June 15th." X.x I'm just worried because my older brother got his permit within a month of doing his biometrics! Thanks all in advance!!
JoseG 383 Posted January 16, 2013 I didn't have anything on that date exactly, but I wasn't too worried because you don't need to prove that exact date. You can send in something shortly before or after that date. I think I sent in an e-mail and a facebook check-in to cover that lol.

splif0clock 89 Posted January 16, 2013 What you have sent them should be enough. Remember, the I-821D instruction for applying clearly says " any other relevant document" to proof you were present on June 15. So, In any case scenario, If you provided a concrete evidence that shows you were continuously present from June 2007 onward ( like school records, medical records etc ...), you shouldn't worry too much about the evidence you sent them for June 15 present requirement. They know any sane person won't just get up and leave after living in the states for 5 years =), unless they were deported and they know they would have a record of it somewhere. And, Don't worry about your case taking too long. Remember, they have procedures that they have to follow which might stall the approval for some (including me). As long as, they have not sent you an RFE, your approval will be due in time. Have faith and go about your day to day activities. After all, we all have lived in the shadows for a while so few more months should not worry you too much. 1 Momo13 reacted to this
