splif0clock 89 Posted January 16, 2013 If the check is made to you with your proper info (including your own SSN) then you should not worry to much about it. They already know that we have been working illegally, so it is highly unlikely to cause any problems. Unless, the provided info is not yours then you have something to worry about. For your other question, After they receive your initial application with the proper supporting document, you were suppose to get 2 notice of action(I-797c) letters for your I-765 application(Employment Authorization) and another one for I-821D(Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival). The first two letters only include, your receipt number and detailed information on, when they received your application, Date received, etc... and including a letter informing you that they have begun your application process. The only important info those letters are your receipt number, which would allow you to check your case status online at http://www.usics.gov. Then, after 5-7 days later, you would get another I-797c letter informing you to appear at your local USCIS office for bio-metrics. On the same paper, it would also include your prior receipt numbers as the application number. And, don't forget it only has been 20 working days since you have taken your bio-metrics. So, be patient, some application (including mine) have been taking 100+ days to get approved . You just need to stop worrying too much about your case and go on to your regular day to day activity. I wish you all the best ....
