Fake Ssn #?

Recommended Posts

I'm just curious, have anyone send in "Evidence supporting documents" like pay stubs for example which have fake social security numbers on them? I raised this question because there were some self-proclaimed "legal analyst" on the web who were urging people not to send any documents for DACA that have fake SSN numbers on them.

Anyone send in documents with fake SSN numbers on them and already been approved for DACA without any problems?

I consulted a lawyer with this very question. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING WITH FAKE SSN. This is just going to make it worse for you, it is considered a felony, according to her. What I did, was send my bank statements, that counts as proof of you being here for extended periods of time, because you have charges on it every month and all. I would say do not send it. And on the explanation part of the application, just say you work part time, cash job cleaning at night with your mom or dad, or a friend that has a cleaning company or something like that. But I absolutely would say do not send anything admitting to falsifying papers. Again, I am not anyone that knows the law, but in my personal opinion, do not send it. It is like incriminating yourself. Good luck! But you can always call a lawyer and ask, I guess, they usually won't charge you for a question, depending where you live, the lawyer I asked did not chage me.

From what I know, if you are working with a fake SSN #, most probably you are using a fake first name and last name. So, why would anyone send in a paystub associated with fictitious name and ssn # on it. On the other hand, if you are using your actual name and fake ssn #, you could send it in but the pay stub must not have the fake ssn listed on it. If it does, you can find yourself in a big problem when the person dealing with your app pulls up all related info to that SSN number. From the paystubs that I have seen, most don't include your ssn number on the paystub at all and some may include the last 4 digit of your socials, so you might get by. In any case scenario, it is always best to seek advice from a lawyer so you don't run into more problems.
