Heisenberg2 34 Posted February 6, 2013 "The U.S. Postal Service will end Saturday home delivery of letters and other first-class mail, but will still deliver packages, starting in August." So they will still be delivering packages but not letters ??
Gezinha 121 Posted February 6, 2013 This is terrible news for the country. More and more people are probably going to lose money, not to mention all the important mail people are missing on the weekend. I feel bad for the workers. The post office is apparently a really good place to work at, but technology has just "ruined" mail exchange. I hope this doesn't affect all of us who are/will get approved in finding jobs, and the American workers as well.
Rawf 336 Posted February 6, 2013 Read this on facebook, I think it is a good move. This is going to leave some US Citizens without a job, create more competition when getting a job.
pswa83 302 Posted February 6, 2013 nothing new. i've been hearing about this since, i think, 2011.
JoseG 383 Posted February 6, 2013 No surprise considering USPS reported a loss of $15 Billion last year! It is costing the government more money to provide the service than they're getting out of it.
splif0clock 89 Posted February 6, 2013 I guess raising the price of stamps didn't solve the budget crisis.
