My brother has received two RFEs and they want proof of a GED. He's enrolled in a GED program and he sent everything that he's received from the school, schedule, grades, copy of application for the GED test, including a letter stating he's enrolled. Does anybody know what exactly to send to prove he's enrolled in a GED program? Thank you.

I would sent the same things and i would add an extra letter from his teacher or school! and more official grades if he has some! Good Luck

This is his second RFE? What was the first one for?

Like Sanchez said, get a letter from the school stating that he's currently in school taking classes to obtain his GED, and if possible an estimated time of when he will be done. Include a copy of his schedule again and any other relevant things.

These people are such morons, delaying processes for something like this. What do they expect you to send? Urghhh...this just infuriates me, how incompetent they can be. They probably lost it, and are now asking for the same things. But yeah, send the same stuff plus a letter I guess. Good luck.

Yes, he just received a second RFE. The RFE states the records do show he's enrolled in the GED program. Also he sent a letter from the school but it did not have the information of the duration of the program. Jose, how did you deal with your sisters RFE? Was it for the same information being requested?

Is he almost done w the GED? Maybe try to finish it ASAP and send the diploma along with the letter from the program coordinator or principal and any other proof of enrollment.

A3: Documentation sufficient for you to demonstrate that you are currently in school may include, but is not limited to:

He's taking the test at the end of February. To get the results back takes over a month, that's what they've told him. Might be enough time to send it before the deadline.

I just got my Ref letter and its for the same thing ..when I sent my application on Sept I was going to school to get my GED and on November I passed my test:) ...so should I send,a copy of my diploma??or should I get a different letter??

The copy of your GED should be enough. But, you can include a letter of completion just to be sure.

Well I sent a copy of my pre-test scores, registration f/ when I took the test, my ged scores and copy of my diploma I think that should be enough..solo falta esperar:/

I have my registration and proof that i been continuing attenting the program will that be enough? Will I get denied if I dont have tbe actual Ged certifate yet? Please help!!!

You don't need to have the actual GED certificate. You just need proof that you are enrolled in and are currently attending GED classes.
