BRIZA87 12 Posted February 7, 2013 ok guys so my husband has a a misdemeanor for "failing to ID" and he did his biometrics back on Dec 7th and still hasn't been approved, so i'm starting to get worried. so if any of you have been approved having a misdemeanor please let me know and if it took longer than most of us who don't have one. Thanks in advance! 2 stolenlacs and chris23 reacted to this
chris23 19 Posted February 7, 2013 I had a misdemeanor nd I took my bios Dec 10. Unfortunately I havent been approve but the fact that we do doesnt mean We will get rejected, But even then his misdemeanor is nothing serious, so im sure he'll get approved. besides applications are taking a long time to get approved, nd theres a 4 to 6 month wait to get approved...its just a matter of time. 2 engineer2mike and Dariela reacted to this

ASRAlbert 1 Posted March 5, 2013 It depends what kind it was. Find out the type. Before applying for DACA its important to find your status regarding your background and this can be done by requesting an FBI background check and a state check. A client of ours was charged of their when he was 12 years old. Because it he was so young he enter a program called Payback which he did community service to pay back the damages. His lawyers told him within 10 years the case will probably be "lost" we did w criminal background check with the state and his record came clean. He applied and within 4 months was approved. My brother was accused of shoplifting, but he didn't actually shoplift anything. Regardless though, he was with someone who did shoplift. He was given a court date, and when he showed up, they told him that the case had not been filed, and they weren't given another date to show up to court. I wonder, what does he have to do? Could you please get back to me if you read this? Thanks(:
JLMan 1 Posted April 29, 2013 @briza87:I had 3 misdemeanors when I applied for DACA.In fact,, I had probation for 11 months(got it reduced though later on),but I provided USCIS with all my court docs and my termination letter from the judge.Plus, I provided recent letters from various ppl that knew me well along with my DACA applications. Also, I made it clear that although I had 3 misd,I had ONLY one arrest. I must mention it took about 5 months for them to approve me...Hope it works out well for ya. 1 BRIZA87 reacted to this
