I got an email saying i was accepted my case was routed to California, just have to wait for the receipts in the mail, but once the time comes for biometrics how do you know where to go? Does it say something on the receipt?

After biometrics you play the waiting game.

Currently the wait is 4-6months depending on your case and criminal background. Good luck and stay busy so it doesn't feel like an eternity :)

And once you receive the receipts in the mail, all the information you need to know is provided within the receipts. It should say a date and location of where you need to go. Buena suerte!!

it will say on the bio letter where, when and what time to go. make sure you have a form of ID with you when you go. passport, country ID, student ID. when you get there, you will give your letter to the guard, he/she will then give you a form that you will need to fill out. basically just some basic info. you will need to write down your A#. then you give it back to the guard and they will check out the form and your ID. your name will be called and then you'll see someone else who will make sure your info is correct. then you'll be given a number. once your number is called, you'll sit off to the side until they're ready to take your finger prints. once your fingerprints are done, your picture and signature will be taken as well. after that, they'll say good luck and give you a little survey thing to fill out and your done.

my appt was at 8am, i got there a little early but was done by 8:20am.
