tetesina 3 Posted February 8, 2013 Ok i just checked my status online and it says to expect a 30-45day delay between the time of petition filed and when my information is available on my case status.... What does this mean?? It's been over a month that i went to do my biometrics..... Help me please... Has anyone else seen this message while checking his/hers status before...?.. I had seen a post from someone who thought that as time went on, the processing times would get longer because so many people are applying and they are not processing stuff fast enough. Maybe this is what is happening now. Try and call them on Monday and ask. Because this does sounds like there is an overflow of applicantion where they havent even initiated your review. I could definitely be wrong, but just call and ask, you might get some better info and then you can share with us all here as well in case someone gets the same thing as you. I believe the message is meant for new applicants who are just submitting their applications. If you can access you case, you shouldn't worry about that message. I totally feel your pain on the wait. I can eat and sleep but I can't focus for eshi and I have never been like this in the past. It is mind blogging. All you can do is hope for the best and wait. They must be having a lot of people call and ask, or a problem related to that, so, that is kind of a notice to people checking their cases. Ehh, it is fine then, I guess. That message means that there will be a 30-45 day delay from the time the lockbox receives your application to the time you will be able to view your status online. It won't affect knowing whether you're application is approved or not since your status doesn't change during the first 30-45 days when you first file your application.
