Recommended Posts

I checked my case status today and my case now says this : Does anyone knows what this means???

we transferred your I821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed.

It just means that your application was routed to the appropriate USCIS office so someone can look at it. I am guessing, either you just sent in your application or they just got a chance to look at your package.

It will be great if you can include your timeline with your signature, if you don't know how check this post .

Creeper!

I think your request is being processed at Sw 147th ave and 120th...

Swing by whenever you have a chance and talk to someone - or call.

If I were you, I would show up and DEMAND an explanation!

How can it be a bad thing?

they can't take any action against you...

If you are calling, call both the national hotline, as well as the local satellite office in the Hammocks...you'll be alright - at least they are making progress and moving things along!

you better like my comments!

I wouldn't worry, it's not the first time it's happened.

They're most likely just spreading out the workload to the local offices.

Hey, I just got that today in my e-mail box. They have routed the case to my local office...hmm..aren't they my local office already? Or does that mean they sent it here to Boston somewhere? It has been 4 months and a week. Maybe this is good I guess, at least I know my case isn't sitting there on someone's desk.

They said local, but I got mail today saying mine was transfered to the Nebraska Service Center. Not so much local for someone in fl.

I just talked to Phoenix, she said that her stuff was sent to Nebraska as well, and she lives in FL too. She said she got a letter in the mail today.

Nebraska is moving!

My application was sent to Nebraska from the beginning...maybe a blessing in disguise?

You guys will get approved very VERY soon!

Vermont is the busiest Service Center of them all, perhaps that's why they transferred your case to a different Service Center.

I got the same thing today :/

On March 6, 2013, we transferred your I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Was your case previously at Vermont as well?

Vermont is the busiest Service Center out of the four, so it would make sense that they are transferring some cases to the other Service Centers to even out the workload.
