Uncles Income Tax

Recommended Posts

My uncle claimed me as a dependent from 09-11. Could I use his tax returns as evidence of residency even though he put a social that I didn't even know I had? :/

Are you sure is a social, not an TI number? 'Cause as far as I know if the SS#, name and b-date don't match the return is not accepted.

Yes, you may use taxes as evidence, but you should submit other evidence as well, say school records, immunization card, etc

So I just talked to him and he said yes it's a TI number. Is that fine to use?

that should be fine, just a question tho, did he declared you as depending living with you at least 50% of the time or as a relative living out of the country? If its the first one, you must have other evidence to show, right?
