Afrosana 17 Posted February 25, 2013 So I JUST got two letters from immigration. I was jumping up and down thinking it was an approval letter. But nope, another type of good news. My case/petition got transferred over to NEBRASKA instead of VERMONT where it originally got sent. This means: Vermont MUST be obviously having issues and taking forever since theyre shipping off petitions to other service centers. Anybody else got this letter?????? Cindymrod 2 Posted February 26, 2013 The exact thing happened to me today! I was shaking when I open the letters lol. But it's some good news anyways. Oh I notice you are in florida also! Good because our case is finally going to be looked at..... bad news because if it got transferred it means Vermont didn't even take a peek at our paperwork. phoenixbird 25 Posted February 26, 2013 same exact thing happened to me, got a notification on the site feb 15 saying it had been transferred and friday i got a letter saying it was transferred to Nebraska...I hope they hurry now! I guess it's good news and bad news. Good because our case is finally going to be looked at..... bad news because if it got transferred it means Vermont didn't even take a peek at our paperwork. christmastree77 19 Posted February 27, 2013 So, I didn't get my transfer letter yet, but when I checked my case status, it said that mine was transferred on the 22nd. I think I'll get my transfer letter in a couple of days, Friday at the latest. I hope this goes faster for me! I saw someone on this forum who had their case sent to Nebraska originally and had their bios on the exact same day that I did and they got approved January 2nd! Kaye, your case got transferred to Nebraska without you even having you biometrics done??? Or is that the center you case was going to in the first place anyways? When did you send your application? It kinda stinks because it's like "Dang, now I know that Vermont didn't even look at my case", but I'm actually really excited because I feel like something will happen soon!!
