dreamer123 9 Posted March 7, 2013 I was confused. If I go online and do a e-request or if I call up the hotline and do a service request, is it the same thing? Also when Can I do it? In other words how can I calculate when my 6 month waiting period is up? Does it start from the date they received your application? Or after Biometrics? Karry Perez 9 Posted March 7, 2013 It starts since you send your application I believe and yes you call them and ask to speak to a representative and tell them you wanna do service request it's up to them weather they wanna give you one or not. I called earlier this week and I got one. Goodluck
Gino10 30 Posted March 7, 2013 Do it both!! I did both, well i think i did both. I went to the info pass appointment, talked to an officer and got no new answers...same. Well, he told me to wait some answers sometime this week explaining the status of the case...let's just wait!
JoseG 383 Posted March 7, 2013 They're both the same thing. Both send a notice to the Service Center that is processing your case letting them know that your case has exceeded the expected processing time. The INFOPASS is also basically the same thing as the Service Center, it's just that you get to talk to somebody instead of waiting to hear back from the Service Center. They don't give you any different information though. 1 Rawf reacted to this
