Hi there.

Welcome to the forums.

About your pending application, it is still under normal processing time. There are quite a few people still left who applied in September and even some who applied in August who are waiting for a Decision. There's nothing to worry about. They will get to your case eventually.

Says Texas right under her photo. <_< Lol.

Like Jose said, you are still under the allowed time but since Karry was able to make a service request, you might as well do it IF only IF you feel like doing so. Just remember that your case is still under the allowed processing time.

I am from Texas and my Application was sent to the Nebraska Service Center, but i moved to Colorado so are they suppose to send them to another Service Center?

I don't think they will be transferring your case to another center since Vermont is sending cases to Nebraska.

You are in the hands of the best center of all (at least I think so).

You still can't do a Service Request for your I-821D application since it's only been 5 months. You have to wait until you reach 6 months.

I'm guessing Karry did a Service Request for the I-765 application.

You call USCIS and ask to speck with a representative and there gonna ask you questions, then you tell them you wanna make a service request it's really up to them weather they wanna give you one. But give it a try and call them goodluck :)

ok guys i called the number and the representative told me that they are no longer doing service requests...They started out by saying that it would take 4-6 months and now they dont know how long its going to take so they can no longer do service requests..:( Kerry when did you do a service request on yours?

They must have gotten bombarded with Service Requests after all the 6 month people called in.

Then again, the only thing they will tell you from the Service Request is to wait longer, it won't speed up your case, so I can see why they wouldn't want to do Service Requests anymore.

From what i've been hearing not alot of people have been applying even after the elections because they dont have the money...so im guessing the fact that the service request wont speed up the process sounds more logical to me...I dont like the fact that they cant give us a time anymore :( so im assuming this can practically take up to a year...
