R2r01992 2 Posted March 15, 2013 I have been waiting since November (bios) And i submitted the form so that I can receive an email alert when the status of my case changes, I submitted an address change on December, around December 28 I went online to check and it changed to them receiving the change, I also recieved a letter but I never got an email stating that my status was changed, is that weird or not? Why didn't I get an email? That's why now I check online instead of my phone (which recieves any new emails every other hour)

jjkayslay 15 Posted March 15, 2013 Will chancing your address delay the status of your case in any way?
pswa83 302 Posted March 15, 2013 not. just make sure you change your address with the post office too. that way all your mail (well, the majority of it) will go to your new address and not the old one

JoseG 383 Posted March 15, 2013 Did you create an account online? Or did you just send our form G-1145? G-1145 was only to receive the two initial acceptance notifications. You won't get any updates after that if you don't create an account online. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/registercustomer.jsp Sign up, add your receipt numbers to your portfolio, select the receipt numbers, then turn on Mobile or E-mail alerts.
