Is Being Enrolled In College A Requirement?

Recommended Posts

When I had started to read about DACA, one of my concerns was that you needed to be enrolled in college if you've already graduated. I've already graduated, but haven't gone to college since. As I write this, I realize that college can't be a requirement because some illegals start working at a job rather than going to school, but I don't know. Anyway, have any of you been approved without having gone to college at all after high school?

Are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States

No, you don't have to be in college to apply.

either being in high school, graduated from high school or having a GED or being in a GED course are all required for DACA. being enrolled in school, is not required if you fall within one of those 4 categories.

you do no have to be in school after you are approved. however, taking advantage of any and all options there are for DACA approved students is always a good thing.
