Rawf 336 Posted March 16, 2013 There has never been a set time for the DACA form, the 4 to 6 months is usually for the work authorization form. (maybe i'm wrong.)

pswa83 302 Posted March 16, 2013 the way i understood it is that the 4 to 6 month waiting process is for the I821D, which makes sense, given that USCIS still has 90 days to make a decision on the I-765 AFTER the make a decision on the I-821D. so if really put to the waiting limits, one could wait up to 9 months for both an approval on the I821D and the I-765 combined. JoseG 383 Posted March 16, 2013 USICS never did release an official processing time for the I-821D application. I forgot how the 4-6 month timeframe came to be. I think USCIS did mention it, but it certainly isn't an official processing time.

Mee 16 Posted March 16, 2013 Latinagirl, i called today too and they told me to call back April 1st if i havent received anything yet. At this point i have lost hope. It will be seven months on March 28th. :-(
Nuvi 11 Posted March 16, 2013 Ya entiendo!

Mee 16 Posted March 16, 2013 I received an email this morning regarding my service request I put in on March 8th. This is what is said: The status of this service request is: This notice acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning your pending Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. We recognize your interest in a final review of your case and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints. So at this point I guess all I can do is keep praying that I and everyone else who has been waiting this long receives an approval soon!! 1 dreameratl reacted to this
