JoseG 383 Posted August 21, 2012 On form I-765, question 16 you would have to answer ( c) (33) leave the third space blank. ( c) (33) means that you are applying for an Employment Authorization Document under the "Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" It says this in the instructions. If you don't fill out form I-765, you will not have an EAD (work permit) and you will not be assigned a Social Security number, therefore not allowing you to obtain a Driver's License or ID, depending on your state.
