GuiCarvalho 0 Posted August 17, 2012 Can someone please explain to me question 16 on Form I-765? It's very confusing and I don't understand it. I already went into the instructions and looked at the categories. It seems like you can only fill out Form I-765 if you have some type of VISA, which I don't. Can someone help, please? JoseG 383 Posted August 21, 2012 I answered this on your other thread. "On form I-765, question 16 you would have to answer ( c) (33) leave the third space blank. ( c) (33) means that you are applying for an Employment Authorization Document under the "Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" It says this in the instructions. If you don't fill out form I-765, you will not be given an EAD (work permit) and you will not be assigned a Social Security number, therefore not allowing you to obtain a Driver's License or ID, depending on your state.
