R2r01992 2 Posted March 26, 2013 I Been waiting to get approved sinc October, and I recieved my w2 from the job I'm currently working at, should I wait till I get approved (hopefully) or can into ahead and do my taxes with my tin number like I have the past years! If not so I can get an extension
Fredo87 34 Posted March 26, 2013 My opion is that you should do your taxes nomally with your itin. Reason is tht you can amend your return later on. You can file for an extension but if I am not incorrect you have to pay a fee and intrest if you owe money
R2r01992 2 Posted March 26, 2013 I don't think I will, I haven't paid the last two times I've done it.

itzel 336 Posted March 26, 2013 I'd file an extension and since I dont' know your timeline but you mentioned waiting since november, you may consider calling USCIS and checking the status of your case. Good luck.
