Did you do a change of address at USPS? You may have to go to UCIS in person
amenamerica 5 Posted March 27, 2013 so, just be clear, when you track your EAD it says it was delivered? Did you do a change of address at USPS? You may have to go to UCIS in person it says it still in process of delivery and I haven't change my address in USPS
Calidreamer 100 Posted March 27, 2013 it says it still in process of delivery and I haven't change my address in USPS OK, so it's "in transit"; does it tell you when is expected to be delivered, are you able to pick up mail at your previous address? Perhaps you still have time to notified USPS of the change before it gets delivered

Before you even started packing your stuff to move to a new place, you should of made sure that this is taken care off. You have to be on top of things, don't just wait for some lawyer to take care of it. I don't mean to sound like your father... but seriously!! What you should do now is try to reach out to the new tenants or owners and find out if they've received your mail. 5 EL_Aviles, dreamer123, Dariela and 2 others reacted to this

angel_0 7 Posted March 28, 2013 Tell your lawyer, nicely, that you will sue her for malpractice if she doesn't get this sorted out. It was her duty to notify USCIS and if she did not and you have to wait even longer to recoup the employment authorization card when you could instead be working or getting around you're really losing out. So you can tell your attorney she needs to prioritize getting this sorted out or you will file a complaint with the bar.
Osha 126 Posted March 28, 2013 I think uscis is sending me a new card to the new adress because the status of my case change again it say today they send my new card to the address they have on file but not sure Which address do they have on file? Did you already changed the address? Don't assume that they send you a new card to your new address! If you haven't file "form AR-11 Alien change of address" they will not send you anything to your new address until you file that form. You really have to find a way to get in-touch with whoever is living at your previous address. Not just is the EAD card important but you also need those acceptance letters for your records. Don't just rely on those lazy immigration lawyers, all they want is your money. Here's the electronic form, fill it out and submit. https://egov.uscis.g...oa.cr.Residence

Well, its great to hear that you are in contact with the new tenants at your previous address. If your EAD card is still in transit then those tenants probably haven't received it yet, because once its delivered it takes a few minutes to an hour to change to "delivered". So keep in contact with them between today and Saturday, your card should arrive by then and once it 's been delivered you should contact them immediately and ask them if they can mail it to you.
