Bonel 895:

One of the requirements is having a GED or HS diploma, although you are in the process of obtaining your GED, you cant apply yet.

The good news is that DACA doesnt seem to have an expiration date. Wait until you obtain your GED and then you can apply.

You can't still apply, the requirement also states that you can apply if at the time you are applying you are enrolled in high school or in a GED program!

Mary:

I'm confused by your answers. What links did you read that say you can apply without a GED/HS diploma?

Bonel895:

The DACA act, its not the DREAM Act, doesnt have an expiration date. I reread the guidelines released by USCIS and as long as you can prove that youre taking GED classes, you CAN APPLY for DACA.

Bonel185, why dont you order a criminal history on yourself? You will know for sure what immigration will be seeing...There's an age thing too, some records are sealed...but I would definitely start out with a criminal history..

If it does show up on the record, you would have to put "Yes" on Part 3 question 1 on the I-821d form and provide them with copies or arrest records, charging documents, dispositions (outcome), sentencing records, etc.
