patito1792 0 Posted April 12, 2013 If someone has, as stated on birth certificate, matriculation, and passport a 1=name+middle name+paternal last name+maternal last name. However, before deferred action, the person has used only 2=name+middle name+paternal last name (no maternal last name). and all the taxes filled previously were under that name. How will someone file taxes if the SS# is under name+middle name+paternal last name+maternal last name. Since it is different now, will the IRS think that both names are different if the USCIS knows that I have used 1=name+middle name+paternal last name (no maternal last name). I would think the USCIS will know that because I stated it under the application when I submitted it under "OTHE NAMES OR MADEN NAMES USED" I'm saying this because the tax guy is telling us that we need to change our name now, but I don't think it makes sense to me and he is charging me more for having my name changes Help please, as you see i don't have much time left. Thank you so very much
