JLMan 1 Posted April 20, 2013 I have a question:If you had a SSN card that states "Not valid for employment" and then you are granted DACA,do you apply for a NEW SSN or do you keep the old SSN and just get the statement removed by the Social Security office? JoseG 383 Posted April 22, 2013 You need to go to the SSA and update your information. You will keep the same number, but they will mail you a new card with the wording "Valid for employment only with DHS authorization" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
