If Your Case Is Taking Too Long This Might Help!!

Recommended Posts

Uscis had received my application on sept 20,2013 biometrics on Oct 24,2013 and since then I waited. I would call to try to get some type of answer and I would never get one, all they would say is wait and sometimes be rude. I've read some cases here were people talk about making themselves sick with depression and anxiety attacks, and yes i had those too. You can't help but to think your application is getting denied because its been sooo long, well at least I did. What I finally decided to do was to contact my local congressman which in my case was Raul Ruiz. Congressman can get into any Federal files with your concent of course. So I filled out the form and explained my situation, printed it out, signed it and faxed it. All that happened on a Monday April 8,2013 and by Friday the 12th I was already approved. Id like to think he helped me. After all you got nothing to lose, give it a try. Hope this helped.

As the matter of fact, I've been thinking about doing this but I wasn't so sure where to get the information. Thank you so much! I'm going to do this plan, I hope it helps me out. Right now, I'm on a service request, I'm going to wait & see if they actually give me a decision after it, if not this is my plan B :) Thank you!!!!

You go here and type in your zip code to find your representative

http://www.house.gov/representatives/

Once i found him I went to his page and clicked on Services and then help with a federal agency

https://ruiz.house.gov/services/help-with-a-federal-agency

Good luck hope it helps

U think u can give us a little more details on what ur letter said and what u told them. Also how u filled out the form,? This may help a lot of us out.

Okay If you don't have a social security number put N/A

The agency involved would be DACA

And the branch would be USCIS

The agency case numbers would be your two receipt numbers

And then you Explain your situation

After that you print it and sign it. I suggest you fax it

It's faster

needless to say from my research about my local congress man Mr. Walter Jones he is completely agianst illegal immigrants and deferred action so this will probly not help. but it is a great idea for those that are in areas where your congress man is in agreement with the action.

Yeah I'm stuck with a republican representative as well, I was just looking to this option if in case my application was to exceed 6 months (hopefully not) but my representative takes this issues at heart I believe he's also a chairman for the homeland security board.. so he's a no-go well i still have alot of time to go so I wont be stressing over this till I actually get to that point.. good luck to everyone else.
