JLMan 1 Posted April 29, 2013 Hey guys, I was just wondering for those who were approved for DACA, if u guys could share ur experiences when u applied for a drivers license.Please let the rest of us know how easy or how hard it was to obtain a DL and from what state u applied from...........Currently, it is a pain to obtain one in GA.Ive been there twice already(was told i cunt be veriified by the SAVE database) and I know sum1 who went several times before she finally got her DL.I think my problem is my SSN bc I havent stop by SSA office, but will do ASAP. Tori 38 Posted April 29, 2013 I'm in CA and had no problems. After getting my SSN I went to the DMV the next day. I waited for an hour and my number got called. I went to the desk, said I was applying for my DL and ID, took the eye test, showed my EAD, payed the fees, got a picture taken, and took the written driver test.
