Baby23 1 Posted May 2, 2013 Hi everyone, Has any body personality file for divorce in CA this is for my brother. He is in CA but doesn't know where to start I just want to help him out. He was only married for months. He had to move 2 hrs away (WORK MOVED) and she couldn't (WORK REASONS). The never lived together. It was just a one day thing which turn out to be a huge mistake, and now he's trying to get divorced two years after. His wife (the girl) has agreed to file for Uncontested Divorce as well as Irreconcilable Differences (NO LOVE) No children Nor such properties exist. What forms should he file? Does he need to make a letter to the judge explaining? What should I tell him to do first? I don't think he should pay a lawyer. Do you guys advice a lawyer? To me it seems simple and clear they both don't want to be together. Since she had been dating other guys for the past 2 years. How about his bank account he has a lot of money from his savings. How is that going to work? Will she have access to that money? Thank you guys in advance for helping me help him. taramo35 27 Posted May 2, 2013 im trying to get divorce too . no kids . no properties. same thing... my friend told me to go to court and to the help center , from what she said like im not working I can get another application so they can waive the divoce fees,,,, I have to go soon so ill let u know what tell meee Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
