Its Taking So Long

i'm going on my 7th month of wait on may 10th, its too long..i'm getting lot of job offers but all i can do is seen them pass right in front of me and there's nothing i can do but wait =[

I'm an October application

and i did my Bio on November 13th and since then i'm still waiting and waiting that little blue bubble has not moved ever since then, it is still on initial review!

they told me that everything was good last time i called, and i have received all the receipts and letters from them for the previous steps, i'm just stuck on the "initial review" for 7 months now -.-

anyone has anything to say that can help me out please ?

_{Well guess what? I'm in the same boat. I'm still under initial review. Seems to me like the people who have been accepted DO NOT live in the Los Angeles area. Most of the Los Angeles area applicants are still under Initial Review. I live in Los Angeles county. The thing is, we live in the epicenter of immigration as far as the US is concerned. Everything here dealing with immigration stuff takes a LOOOOOOONG time. I sent my application in October, did my BIOS in November, haven't head anything since. I go online to the uscis website to check on my status, same ol' thing: initial review. Heres what I want to know: ANYBODY WHO SENT THEIR APPLICATION IN OCTOBER AND LIVES IN LOS ANGELES BEEN ACCEPTED YET? RECEIVED SSN AND ALL THAT? Probably not... I faxed and emailed her, her office sent me an email last week saying that they had received my information and were going to look into my case in a timely manner.

I've been waiting 8 months since August :/ I'm sending my congressman a letter today, I hope he is able to help me out. I filled out a form he has online so anyone with a federal problem can contact him, I filled it out, signed it, and I'm mailing it today. (I perfer mailing than faxing).

I am feeling more hopeful than ever right now

well u do make seem like u calm , thats good tho it gives a good vibe to me & ohh okay cool, i have met my congressswoman, and she even gave me her card to whenver hit her up but i didnt know she could help me out on this, i'll get on it tomorrow tho and see what she says... i hope so too hun
