Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm new to this and super happy I found people who can relate to me.

I changed my adress on May 1 2013 and I did the whole "changing the adress process"

Does anyone know if that will Delay My process? Does anyone know how long it takes? I had an petition application from my grandpa, will this help my process?

Date Application Sent: February 25, 2013

Lockbox: Texas

Mail Method: Priority Mail

Received Date: February 28, 2013

Service Center: Nebraska Service Center

Biometrics: April 1, 2013

Approval: Pending

it will not delay your process. however, you should also change your address with the post office so that all your mail gets forwarded to the new address.

i have always listed my permanent address as my mother's and she moved shortly after i applied. so i filed the AR-11 online as well as mailed the paper form and changed my address with the post office. doing all 3 covers all your bases. the sooner you do it the better. it should take about 2 weeks from the time USCIS gets the AR-11 for them to update your address.

also, being approved or denied for DACA will have no affect on any other applications you have with USCIS unless you apply for advance parole (to travel out of the US for certain things).
