I'm not applying for the dream act but I have several friends that are and I am helping them being that they have to work, my friend needs to know if they are going to be asking for any tax information in order to get his work permit? Can anyone help us with this?

This isn't the "Dream Act", it is "Deferred Action" This isn't a law, it also doesn't provide a path to citizenship.

Here you can find the forms, http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=9296f6c546129310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=a2dd6d26d17df110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD

The form I-765 to obtain an EAD (Employment Authorization Document) doesn't ask for any tax information.
