claudiasperez88 1 Posted May 22, 2013 I was just wondering how the ssn cards of those approved look. Do they have " Valid for Work only" or just normal?

JoseG 383 Posted May 22, 2013 The full wording is "Valid for work only with DHS authorization" which means that we can only use it for work if we have authorization from DHS, a.k.a. if our EAD is valid. Much different than "Valid for work only" which sounds like we can only use it to work and nothing else. The SSA should put a comma on there "Valid for work, only with DHS authorization"
