JoseG 383 Posted June 3, 2013 Some people say that they never received a text or e-mail, but that's because they thought that by sending in form G-1145 they would get notified whenever there was an update to their case. Form G-1145 was only to be notified when the lockbox had received your application. If you want to get further text and e-mail updates, you have to create an account on the USCIS website and add your Receipt Numbers to your Case Portfolio, then turn on the E-mail and Mobile Alerts.
