Mee 16 Posted June 4, 2013 Question my name on my daca card has my fathers last name first and my mothers last name last...however I have always written my last name as my dads last name...is this going to make a difference when I apply for stuff? I have never written my last name as my moms last name. Please help with advice.
JoseG 383 Posted June 4, 2013 You mean on the EAD, there's no such thing as a DACA card Anyways, that's how it's supposed to be. Paternal last name comes before the Maternal last name. As far as applying for stuff, I think you're going to have to apply with your complete name as shown on your EAD and SSN.
pswa83 302 Posted June 4, 2013 i would think that they went off either your BC or your passport. i put my mothers last name first and my 2nd last name last cuz that's the way it was written on my BC and passport.
