samantha1234 0 Posted June 13, 2013 Hey everybody, I have my biometrics appointment soon & it asks to bring a valid form of ID whether it be license, passport etc.. The only ID I have is my baby passport with my baby picture & a present school ID. I don't know if they will accept it since its expired.. What did you guys take to prove identity? Mexico gives out matriculas which is basically a picture ID im sure a consulate of your country of origin may expedite you with some sort of id, also they can give you an updated passport with your picture. Im not sure of your school ID would be ok but if you can get another form of id just to be safe look up your local consulate! Good luck on your bios appointment and welcome to the forum!! Thanks for your reply, I'm from Venezuela and i live in Miami. Problem is: the Venezuelan consulate got moved to New Orleans. I've researched and I've read that for most, a birth certificate/ passport and school ID worked. But I guess it depends on whose checking. Just wanted to get more opinions on it. Thanks so much!! b923 3 Posted August 2, 2013 hey i had the same exact thing. a baby passport, and a school id from like 2011. IT worked without a problem they didnt really even care as long as you had the other paperwork and had a photo of you and your name on something it was fine.
